[Help] Problem with xampp

when I installed XAMPP I got this message:

ok this problem has been fixed I disabled UAC

next problem I install xampp 1.7.1 and receive this message

start xampp and will not start Apache

Another problem I found no works localhost/security to secure xampp

How can I fix this problem ?

Install XAMPP on a harddrive with permissions for write. Or just fix that UAC, give you permissions for administrator.

There is a small program called / port checker/ into the Xamp folder see if you have port 80/443 used at all. And start xamp launcher with administrative privilege with right click and run as administrator for example

Windows XP does not have these problems,only windows 7 has these problems

I searched the net this problem and so I fixed:

After installation launch the program. left click the wamp icon in taskbar tray it will show a menu

=> go to apache => go to httpd.config click it to open..

Find(Ctrl+F) listen 80 and replace it with listen port_number like listen 88 or listen 96 etc.

again click on wamp icon.. click restart all services.

Your apache would be fine

you can look by this:

1. Find what Application is using port 80:

in cmd:

netstat -aon | findstr :80

- and at l!stening 0.0.0.0:80 or 127.0.0.1:80 there is a PID number at the end "xxxx" like "****ENING 3380"

then in CMD or in Task Manager you should be able to view processes by PID:

cmd:

taskl!st /svc

But in this case i think SKYPE is the guilty one

Fixed this problem port 80 is used

I fixed that problem already by change from xampp port 80 with 88

I did not understand what program using port 80

Many have said It was Skype or TeamViewer 9 wrong

I searched the net this problem until finally I fixed it

How I Fixed it easy go computer [click/unistall or change a program]
Next click Turn Windows features on or off select Internet Information Services
Unistall Word Wide Web Services and port 80 works again
