I want to open a Mu Online server s9, but the ultimate question/problem for me is:

Is the windows 2008 server -> firewall good enough?

or

Search for a 3rd party firewalls (give me examples of firewalls please)

search for good host with hardware firewall, softwares will not keep you safe.

i have windows server 2008 Rc2 on my VPS hosted in holland with cisco firewall...cisco asa 55xx???

My question is can be hosted with firewall from windows server 2008 and a software firewall like kiwiguard and port blocker....Should be enough???

For good firewall you can use Microsoft Firewall but for flood you will need a good host with great internet speed and secure. On home you can start server but you are easy target for flooders.

You first can get a website hosting but after that you will need and host for MuServer. Shared hosting with mssql or sqlsrv extension for site and a good VPS for MuServer.

It's impossible to fuck up his server or website, he has the best AH system I have ever seen

The flood protection is on high level

He has even SSL and all form requests are well protected, so forget about any kind of injections

The whole website has been written for him with many customs by the best professionals in the MuOnline Web developing, so even if there is a bug or hole in some modules you must be very smart to do a manual attack, and even than the result wont be good

There is no such thing as "Can't connect to the database " or "The table "blabla" doesn't exist"

And just shut your f...in mouth and watch your job, guys

Leave the people to believe in their own dreams and follow their targets
